Item 330 - Anniversary Date

The pay period in which an employee will be eligible to receive a Special In-Grade Salary Adjustment (SISA) or salary increase based on service per a collective bargaining agreement.

 

Coding:

MM/YY = Month and Year of eligible pay period (12/97, 07/98 etc.).

NONE = When date is indeterminable or if there is no anniversary date.

MAX = When the employee's Based On Salary is the maximum for the class, range.

9999 = Not eligible. Employee has progressed to the service based maximum for a given class and range, or his/her specific salary maximum (that is not the maximum for the respective class and salary range).

330-02 ANNIVERSARY DATE IS INVALID. EMPLOYEE NOT AT MAXIMUM.

If class has special rate, employee must be at the highest salary.

330-03 ANNIVERSARY DATE IS INVALID. EMPLOYEE AT MAXIMUM.

If assigned salary (Item 820) is at the maximum rate for the class, anniversary date must be MAX.

330-06 ANNIVERSARY DATE MUST = MAX or 99/99: EMPLOYEE HAS RED CIRCLE RATE.

If red circle rate (Item 815) is present, anniversary date must be MAX or 99/99 unless the transaction effective date is 07/01/95 through 03/31/96 and CBID is R02, R04, R05, R07 or R09 or eligibility substantiation code (Item 957) is 89 through 99.

330-16 ANNIVERSARY DATE NOT MAX OR 99/99, BUT EMPLOYEE IS AT MAX STEP ALLOWABLE.

If salary step is maximum step allowable for the class/range, anniversary date MUST be MAX or 99/99.

330-19 ANNIVERSARY DATE IS MAX BUT EMPLOYEE IS NOT AT MAX STEP ALLOWABLE.

Anniversary date is invalid if class is a range/step class and anniversary date equals MAX and salary step is less than the maximum step for the range.

330-20 ANNIVERSARY DATE IS INVALID: CANNOT BE GREATER THAN EXPIRATION DATE.

Anniversary date cannot be greater than Item 416 - Appointment Expiration Date if either is entered.

Note:  Audit message 330-18 was suspended 12/26/95.

  1. Refer also to Item 958 - Final Salary Anniversary Date.

  2. Prior to 07/01/95, the value of 99/99 indicated that a R01 Physician was in employment status on 7-1-89 at the time the Physician I/II classes were converted to a single class, did not have an approved medical specialty, and was not eligible to move beyond step 4 of the salary range.

  3. After 07/01/95, service eligibility may be subject to an SSI maximum.

  4. Employees in apprentice classes are entitled to a six month increase between each step of their class. Refer to Transaction SCR.

  5. To deny a service increase, refer to Transaction 330 for processing instructions and the appropriate technical letters.
