Red Circle Rate (Plus Salary)

Definition:

The Red Circle Rate/Plus Salary is an amount in excess of the Base Pay for a given classification or when an employee has been formally assigned a Red Circle Rate or Plus Salary Amount. Refer to PIMS Manual, Item 815, for additional information.  

As of 7/31/2009 when a furlough code is present in the Eligibility Substantiation field this rate represents the full time furlough amount and will be denoted as a negative dollar amount.
