Effective Date (YYYYMMDD)

Definition:

For the PS file, this is the effective date of the most recent change (e.g., rate, title, etc.) to the Class Code.

For all other files, this is the date a Transaction Code is effective.

This field is set up in year, month and day format so it can be used for comparison or computation.  Refer also to Effective Date (MMDDYYYY).

This is a SMART DATE.

This is a defined field.
