Regional impact: CSU campuses in the Inland Empire region generated a substantial economic impact across the region, supporting a total of 9,218 jobs and contributing $415 million in labor income, over $1 billion in industry activity and $78 million in tax revenues, underscoring the campuses’ vital role in regional economic vitality.

When Inland Empire region CSU alumni spend their incremental earnings in the statewide economy an estimated 21,800 jobs, $1.6 billion in labor income, $4.7 billion in industry activity and a remarkable $364 million in tax revenue is created each year.

For every $1 the state invested in Inland Empire region campuses, $10.17 was generated in statewide industry activity, increasing to $50.84 when including alumni earnings from these region campuses.
