Public Events

Since 1985, CSU Summer Arts has assembled dozens of the world’s top creatives to teach our students and hold public performances. Each summer, we produce live events spanning the spectrum of dance, media, music, theater, visual art and design, and writing.

CSU Summer Arts will be hosted by Fresno State in Fresno, California through the 2023 season.

csu sUMMER aRTS bOX OFFICE INFORMATION

Tickets are available for purchase online beginning Monday, June 13, 2022, and in person beginning Monday, June 20, 2022:

  • CSU Summer Arts Box Office Contact:

    • hours: Monday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. and one hour prior to event times at the event locations. The box office is closed on Sundays (except Sunday, July 3) and Monday, July 4, 2022.
    • location: The ​ Box Office is located in the Speech Arts Building near the John Wright and Woods Theatres on the Fresno State campus.
  • Tickets may be purchased online or in person. Tickets ordered online should be printed by the purchaser and brought to the venue for admittance. Tickets purchased online may also be loaded to a mobile device for scanning at the event venue. Tickets will not be mailed. 
  • Not all events are appropriate for children. Please contact the box office staff to ask about age-appropriate events before purchasing tickets. 
  • All attendees must have a ticket, except for events that are free for everyone. 
  • Free events are not ticketed, and admission is on a first-come, first-seated basis.​

TICKET PRICING AND GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING

Seating for all events is General Admission. Tickets prices ​are:

  • MUSIC AND DANCE PERFORMANCES​
    $20 for adults
    $15 for students, seniors (60+), Fresno State faculty and staff
  • LECTURES, READINGS AND FILMS
    $10 for adults
    Free for students, seniors (60+), Fresno State faculty and staff
  • Student showcases are not ticketed and admission is on a first-come, first-seated basis. 
  • Return to the Events Calendar​ to see a list of all events. Purchase tickets by clicking on an event and then the Buy Tickets button.

Tickets are nonrefundable or exchangable. 

PERFORMANCES AND SPECIAL ACCESS

Contact the box office for information about age-appropriateness of events and if you have special access needs. Performances begin at the time indicated in the Events Calendar. Late-arriving patrons are not guaranteed a seat, and will be seated at the discretion of the management.

If you have special access needs, including seating for those in wheelchairs or the need for a sign language interpreter, let the box office know at least two weeks before the event you wish to attend.
