CSU San Bernardino

For over fifty years, CSU San Bernardino College of Education has been the leader in preparing educators, including teachers, counselors and administrators for the Inland Empire of Southern California. Working in collaboration with district partners throughout the region, The College of Education has developed programs which includes advanced techniques and strategies that prepare our future educators to serve the many diverse needs of the students that live in the region. The fully accredited programs are among the most respected; having in many cases both state and national accreditation and produces the majority of educators in the Inland Empire.

The College of Education’s conceptual framework describes the qualities one would want to see in each and every graduate, that being one who recognizes the complexities of teaching and learning and demonstrates a willingness to try a variety of ways of supporting and assisting student learning and development. Beyond the development and learning of each of their students, we work to have the candidates in our programs understand the crucial role that educators play in promoting positive social change, achieving social justice, and promoting human rights.
