As a continuing CDIP Fellow, you are required to update your academic status annually (even if you are not borrowing money). While in the program, you will fall into one of two participant status categories: continuing eligible to borrow or continuing ineligible to borrow.
CONTINUING ELIGIBLE TO BORROW
Fellows who are in good standing and have remaining loan funds may withdraw up to $10,000 a year (maximum of $30,000 over the course of the program). The amount withdrawn will be split by the number of terms in the fellow's academic year: 2 disbursements for a semester system or 3 disbursements for a quarter system.
