The BAYCAT Fellowship: The BAYCAT Fellowship program exists to help young career creatives navigate the limbo in the film industry between graduation and elite film incubators. The Fellowship is a 12 week, paid hands-on training series that provides underrepresented creatives with workshops, writer room sessions, and one-on-one mentorship to develop their ideas for a TV series into a working concept with a polished pitch. Fellows will graduate the program with a pitch deck, press kit (social media assets), and a script/synopsis. Three fellows will be chosen to pitch their ideas to three industry judges and a live audience at BAYCAT's InFocus Pitch Night. A final winner will be selected to work with BAYCAT studio to produce a short proof of concept for their series.
