Digital badges signify that a recipient has successfully completed a specific program or course and contain metadata about the recipient's achievements. Academic Technology Services (ATS) uses Badgr to award digital badges to members who have participated in a workshop, professional development course, or conference sponsored by ATS.
Badgr is integrated into the Chancellor's Office Canvas learning management system and is used to automatically award digital badges to participants who meet specifc course criteria. Digital badges can be shared with employers, colleagues, friends, and family via social media or websites. To learn more about sharing options, read "Sharing badges from Badgr."
