Trustee Emeritus Lou Monville is vice president of OPR Communications, one of Southern California's leading firms specializing in providing both tactical and strategic public affairs counsel to business and public agency clientele. Monville served on the CSU Board of Trustees from 2006 to 2016, including terms as chair and vice chair.

Prior to serving as a CSU trustee, Monville was appointed to the California Community College Board of Governors in 2004. He currently serves on the boards of the California Inland Empire Council of the ​Boy Scouts of America, as well as the President's Advancement Council at his alma mater, CSU San Bernardino.
