Transfer Credit Summary

CSU campuses may provide to transfer students a summary of transfer credit/individual degree plan or a summary of courses that are being accepted for transfer.


Campus
  1. When is a Summary of Transfer Credit provided to students?
  2. In what format (online only, paper form only, or both) is the degree audit available?
Bakersfield
  1. Transfer credit evaluations (degree audit) are available for accepted students who submit transcripts to the university.
  2. The degree audit is available online through the self-service portal, myCSUB.
Channel Islands
  1. A preliminary transfer degree progress report and transfer credit summary is available for matriculated students who have submitted transcripts by the deadline. All students will have access to both reports prior to their first term of attendance.
  2. The CI Academic Requirement Report (CARR) is available online only through student’s myCI. Only matriculated students receive a CARR report.
Chico
  1. A preliminary transfer credit report is available for matriculated students prior to registration.  Final credit posting with last semester of coursework typically is available during the first four weeks of the semester.
  2. Both at orientation; then online thereafter.
Dominguez Hills
  1. At New Student Orientation for students who have submitted transcripts. Otherwise, prior to the end of the first term of enrollment.
  2. Online via my.csudh.edu.
East Bay
  1. A preliminary audit is available in May and updated as transcripts are submitted. The official audit is delivered by the end of the first term of enrollment.

Fresno
  1. Before new student orientation.
  2. Link to run their own report in Student Center.
Fullerton
  1. Summary of Transfer Credit is provided to students prior to the first term of enrollment.
  2. The Titan Degree Audit (TDA) is available online via the student portal but it can be printed.
Humboldt
  1. The degree audit is prepared and available to the student at the time of online orientation throughout the summer.
  2. Online through the DARS link in the Student Center.
Long Beach
  1. On-line, following submission of transcripts during the admissions process and throughout the academic career as transfer coursework is submitted.
  2. Online only (but they can print it)
Los Angeles
  1. An initial summary is provided by time of new student orientation, and it is updated as additional transfer coursework is submitted.
  2. Online only (student have option to Print).
Maritime Academy
  1. Initial summary for admitted students provided by May 1 - updated for matriculating students two weeks after spring transcript arrives. Full summary/Degree plan available online in first weeks of fall semester.
  2. Online via the MyCalMaritime student portal.
Monterey Bay
  1. Online - After matriculation as transfer coursework is submitted; all coursework will be posted by end of first semester
  2. Online via OASIS Academic Requirements page.
Northridge
  1. The Degree Progress Report (DPR - degree audit) is available online for applicants and accepted students who submit transcripts to the university.
  2. Online via myNorthridge portal.
Pomona
  1. An initial summary is provided during orientation and updated as additional transfer coursework is submitted.
  2. Students receive both - paper copy at orientation and on-line through their student portal.
Sacramento
  1. Transfer Credit Evaluation is provided prior to Orientation for all transcripts received.
  2. The degree audit is online through MySacState Student Center portal.
San Bernardino
  1. In​itial summary is provided by time of new student orientation and update after additional transfer work is submitted
  2. Online via the PAWS report
San Diego
  1. Students receive their degree evaluation with transfer credit at Orientation.
  2. Students receive both - paper copy in the orientation folder and on-line through their student portal.
San Francisco
  1. ​An initial summary is provided during orientation and updated as additional transfer coursework is submitted.
  2. Students may view the transfer credit summary by reviewing their Degree Progress Report available on their student portal.
San José
  1. An initial review prior to Transfer Orientation for students who have submitted transcripts. Otherwise, prior to the first term of enrollment.
  2. Online via MyGPS; Myprogress.
San Luis Obispo
  1. Prior to enrollment. Students who submit their transcripts by the July 15 deadline, will have their Degree Progress Report (DPR) ready by the August registration date.
