AI in July​

AI in July is a month-long, systemwide initiative led by the CSU Chancellor’s Office ITS Campus Engagement Team to raise awareness of the state and future of AI in higher education, specifically in the CSU. This virtual series includes keynotes, expert panels, campus showcases, technical deep dives, and “prompt party” AI challenges. The program delivers practical skill development, real-world GenAI use cases, and thought leadership—all free of charge. Whether you're AI-curious or deeply technical, there's something for every role across the CSU.

Does the community ever get together?

Yes, we do! Community members try to gather annually for the Cal State Tech Connect conference. Connect provides ample opportunity to network and engage with your peers, as well as a space to show off the innovative work going on across the system! There are other opportunities to meet outside of the annual Connect event too!
