Alexander Soto
My eagerness to learn, my compassion towards others, my relentless work ethic, and my will to seek the best for those who suffer has led me to choose a career as a physician.

Alexander Soto grew up in a small house with anywhere from eight to twelve people living in the home. Growing up without his biological father since the age of five, he watched his uncles go down self-defeating paths with drugs and gang activity. Luckily, Alex found peace from his circumstances through going to school and playing sports.

Alex is currently an undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino. Alex serves as a supplemental general chemistry instructor for the Student Assistance in Learning Program and a peer mentor for the Health Professions Advising Center. He is also in his third year as a member of the executive board for the Medical & Pre-Health Student Society, all while maintaining a 3.6 GPA.

Alex plans on becoming a physician and is interested in working in underserved areas to help those most in need.
