Campus AuD Programs

Cal State LA currently offers an AuD program, CSUN’s program will debut in fall 2019, and Sacramento State and San José State will start their programs in fall 2020.



Cal State LA​

The purpose of this clinical doctoral program in audiology is to prepare audiologists to be highly skilled, independent practitioners and leaders in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with hearing loss and balance disorders. This AuD degree program is designed to prepare students with a strong background in the scientific basis of audiology, evidence-based practice and clinical competencies.

Students who complete the four-year AuD curriculum will be prepared to pass the national examination in audiology, as well as to fulfill the didactic and clinical clock hour requirements for licensure and national certification. Go to Cal State LA's AuD Program​

San José State (Opening Fall 2020)

The mission of the San José State University AuD program is to provide students with an academic and clinical educational program that emphasizes a solid theoretical framework and facilitates learning outstanding clinical skills for providing high-quality services to individuals with hearing and balance disorders in our community.  Graduates of our program will be ethical; culturally sensitive; committed to evidence-based practices; prepared to assume leadership roles; and experienced in, and appreciative of, an interprofessional team approach to patient care.

Sacramento State (Opening Fall 2020)
