B.S. Business Administration (1986)

Serves as president of Grifols Biologicals, Inc., a manufacturer of biological products derived from human plasma that are used as lifesaving therapies for individuals worldwide.
Has been recognized as a “Hispanic Hero” by the Hispanic College Fund and speaks to students at the annual Hispanic Youth Institute to promote self-growth and the importance of education.
Supports El Nido Family Centers and has co-created a pilot mentorship program. The program provides support to high school students to encourage careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
He participates in Woodrow Wilson High School’s College Corner and College Feria event, which exposes local students to various college and university options nationwide.
Has served on the City of Los Angeles’ Workforce Investment Board, and on the board of directors for the Southern California Biomedical Council.
He has built a strong relationship with Cal State L.A., particularly the College of Natural and Social Sciences, and visits the campus often to introduce students to careers in STEM industries.
