Ms. Grappendorf has been a lecturer for CSUB's Department of Kinesiology for 23 years. Her teaching has been described by her students and peers as “engaging, passionate and willing to help students as much as possible."
Beginning in 2012, Ms. Grappendorf began serving as Department Chair. During this time, Ms. Grappendorf has led the Department through significant curricular change and rapid program growth.
Ms. Grappendorf has supported applied learning opportunities that allow students to engage Kern County youth in fitness and has supported student success through a several graduation initiatives and advocacy for LGBTQ+ students, faculty and staff.
