Monique is the Assistant Vice Chancellor & Chief Counsel, Academic & Student Affairs and the University Counsel for California State University Maritime Academy. She previously served as the University Counsel at California State University, Fullerton for over ten years and is the resource attorney for HIPAA and Affirmative Action. In addition to working at the CSU, Monique has worked in private practice representing school districts and community colleges, and in house for the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and at the University of California, Berkeley campus.
