Our impact on an individual level may be small, but together, I know that our work as CSU STEM VISTAs will be a catalyst for greater change in the CSU system."
- Paige Hernandez, 2015-16 VISTA Member, CSUPERB
CSU STEM VISTA utilizes a sustainable, asset-based approach to STEM education. VISTA members and campus teams are trained on models, frameworks and tools that can interrupt inequitable practices, examine bias, and create inclusive environments.
Our work is focused on eliminating race, class and gender disparities in STEM.
CSU STEM VISTA members are passionate community change agents who are placed on a CSU campus full-time for one year applying and implementing asset-based programs and initiatives that support and improve STEM education.
