Former senior vice president and CEO of health plansoperations for National Medical Enterprises (which later became Tenet Healthcare). Built the National Health Plans HMO from scratch for National Medical Enterprises, turning it into a $100 million-a-year business.
He has more than 30 years experience in health care and managed care. He serves on a number of non-profit and for-profit boards of directors.
Has authored a number of popular health care guidebooks and e-learning applications.
Wrote his first novel, Dorris Bridge, in 2010 and his second novel, The Burning Z, in 2013.
