Founder and CEO of the New Teacher Center (NTC), a national organization dedicated to reducing the achievement gap in our nation’s schools by accelerating the effectiveness of new teachers and principals through comprehensive mentoring and professional-development programs.
Recipient of numerous educational, leadership and entrepreneurship awards for her dedicated to elevating the level of instruction in the nation’s educational system.
Moir has authored several books and produced documentaries on teacher induction and bilingual education.
In California, Moir has been a longtime advisor to the state’s Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BSTA) programs.
Appointed to The Aspen Institute’s National Commission on Social, Emotional and Academic Development.
