Led human resources organizations for a number of industries including biotechnology, aerospace and retail distribution for mid-sized, publicly traded companies.
Serves as a volunteer reader for PBS radio reading service.
She has trained as a volunteer mediator who has worked on complex, multiparty, court-ordered cases.
Judge’s other service work includes the board of directors of the Humboldt State University Advancement Foundation and San Diego Council on Literacy
She is a mentor for Athena, a San Diego non-profit organization, where she supports women in high tech and biotech industries. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
