  • Meyers grows almonds in the Mendota area, where he also has been able to bank groundwater through several years of drought, providing hope for other farmers to follow his example and have more consistent production.
  • The innovative water banking project has become an educational resource for student and teacher education on wildlife habitat and water conservation.
  • Named Agriculturist of the Year by the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce (2010).
  • Named Fresno State Alumni Association’s Distinguished Top Dog Alumnus Awardee (2012).
