Joined KPMG in 1976 and was admitted to the partnership in 1986. Responsibilities have included oversight of KPMG's 23-country practice in Latin America and serving as the Managing Partner for KPMG's San Francisco office.
Member of KPMG's Diversity Advisory Board, trustee of the Latino Community Foundation and mentor to many Latinos and partners at KPMG. Instructor for KPMG employee Business School in the U.S. and Latin America.
Served on the California State Board of Accountancy's Quality Committee, the Bay Area Council Board of Directors, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Cal State East Bay Educational Foundation.
Member of corporate advisory board for the Boy Scouts of America - San Francisco Bay Area Council and Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting.
Spends leisure time farming his 17-acre walnut farm.
