In 2012, Build.com employed 350 people, with a projection of employing 450 by the end of 2014.

Been a featured speaker at the 2010 ETAIL East conference, the 2008 Internet Retailer convention, and the Wharton School of Business 2007 Entrepreneurship Conference. Member of the Advisory Board at DCA Capital Partners, LP.
An avid supporter of entrepreneurial education efforts at Chico State and regular guest lecturer. Likewise serves as a mentor to several budding regional start-ups and aspiring area entrepreneurs.
Annual participant and devotee of the Burning Man Festival where he has perfected the art of fire dancing.
