Product Support Integration Manager for Expeditionary Navy Tactical Wheeled Vehicle and Automotive product line with the Naval Facilities Engineering & Expeditionary Warfare Center located in Port Hueneme. Her portfolio includes: Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles, Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement, High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, Light Service Support Vehicles, and Heavy Truck Tractors.
Though homeless much of her young life, Melody was able to fight through and obtain her high school degree and now her bachelor's. She remains positive, supportive, caring and is always eager to learn new things. She was a President's Scholar at CSUCI.
Recently awarded the Community Gems Award presented by Van Gundy Jewelers. This award is given to only 12 remarkable women who have made exceptional contributions and are unsung heroes in the Ventura County community. She is the youngest ever to receive the award.
Extensive volunteer service at the Oxnard Outdoor Soup Kitchen, CSU Channel Islands and Full Life Christian Church and has mobilized students for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise money for healthcare.
Mentors and tutors junior high, high school students and young adults.
