Lori A. Redfearn

Lori A. Redfearn is associate vice chancellor of Systemwide Advancement for the California State University. Lori provides strategic leadership for the 23 CSU campuses by encouraging university-wide best practices, performance benchmarking, accountability standards and professional training. She is administrator-in-charge for the University Relations and Advancement division.

Systemwide Advancement’s top priority is to promote philanthropic investment and enhance engagement with alumni and corporate partners. The CSU Entertainment Alliance and CSU Hospitality and Tourism Alliance are two signature efforts. The alliances work with industry and academic leaders to identify trends and prepare highly qualified graduates for their workforces.

Lori serves as the president and chief executive officer of the California​ State University Foundation. The foundation builds relationships with donors to amplify student and academic success across multiple campuses. It distributes over $1 million a year in student scholarships.

Lori has more than 35 years of experience in philanthropy, offering perspectives as both a fundraiser and a grant maker. She is a volunteer leader with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, serving as chair of CASE District VII and the CASE Philanthropy Commission.

A proud CSU alumna, Lori graduated with a degree in political science from Cal State Fullerton.
