Contribution Highlights:

  • Humboldt State received $1.5 million from the estate of L.W. Schatz to benefit hydrogen fuel cell research and its demonstration forest.
  • The first endowed chair was established as the Kenneth L. Fisher Chair in Redwood Forest Ecology with a gift of $3.5 million.
  • Total university endowment market value increased by more than 25 percent.
  • The university received $340,000 in unrestricted scholarship bequests from alumni.
