CSU Students Compete by Demonstrating Original Research
May 13, 2011
The best and brightest student researchers from across the CSU system tested their academic skills against their peers at the 25th Annual California State University Student Research Competition. The competition was held May 6 and 7 at Fresno State.
Approximately 225 students from 21 of the 23 CSU campuses made presentations before juries of experts from major corporations, foundations, public agencies, colleges and universities in California. Based on the jurors’ recommendations, cash awards were provided to the outstanding presenter and runner-up in undergraduate and graduate divisions of each category.
The categories cut across several academic disciplines from engineering to creative arts. A list of awardees and archive of photos from the event may be found here.
