Keri Askew Bailey has spent more than a quarter century working in California politics and public policy. While working in the State Capitol as a policy aide and Chief of Staff to various members of the State Assembly, she staffed issues in the financial services, insurance, and tax arenas for more than a decade. After leaving the Capitol, Keri initially lobbied in both California and Nevada on behalf of the credit union movement working on policy issues including financial literacy, data security, and expanding credit union services to members. When leaving the financial services arena, Keri moved into the grocery retail space working on behalf of a major trade association in the arena. Among other things, her policy work focused on food access, California's Proposition 65, and industry environmental initiatives.
In 2018, Keri joined Charter Communications and serves as group vice president, State Government Affairs for the West Region. In that role, she manages state and local government affairs and community engagement activities for the company in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona, and Idaho.
