After graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Lesley Bode entered the master’s degree program in psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt in 2021. She is now working with Cal Poly Humboldt’s Counseling & Psychological Services office, where she provides students with mental health resources to help them succeed personally and academically. She is also an advocate for issues such as homelessness and mental health and has spoken at local city council meetings and church group gatherings about resource gaps.

​Ultimately, Lesley hopes to work with at-risk youth and their families by providing emotional and mental support.
