Amazed by how fast technology is changing the world, Nghia Trong Phan decided to take significant risks to pursue his dream in America, the land of advancing technology. Propelled by the constant support of his family, Nghia was determined to further his education.

That determination paid off, and Nghia is now a junior majoring in computer science at Cal State Fullerton, where he has participated in several computing organizations while consistently maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

​Nghia plans to pursue a master’s degree in computer science, work at a big tech company and become a volunteer instructor for underprivileged children in his community.
