I am humble to acknowledge that I may not know every answer, however, I am determined to always seek it."

Rehan Siddique overcame a former gang affiliation, poverty, and feelings of utter hopelessness to develop a strong mindset, allowing him to succeed at California State University, East Bay and pursue a bachelor’s degree in health science.

In the community, Rehan organizes and implements neighborhood basketball games for at-risk youth in Oakland that emphasize the importance of leadership, academics, and success. Rehan is also a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and volunteers his time by providing patient care in the emergency room at Highland Hospital.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in health science, Rehan aspires to attend a physician assistant program or pursue a master’s in public health with the intent of teaching at the university level.
