Faith Ihem
Intellectual growth is a pursuit that enables my ability to achieve occupational and personal success.

As an African American raised by a single mother, Faith Ihem was the first child in her family to go to college. She was diagnosed at a young age with systemic lupus and has battled this chronic disease throughout her academic career. Faith is a senior at California State University, Bakersfield double majoring in political science and communications with concentrations in pre-law and public relations.

Faith finds fulfillment in serving the community, especially youth with medical disabilities. She volunteers for Relay for Life, Mastering Abilities Riding Equines, and the CSU Bakersfield Dance Marathon for the Child's Miracle Network. Faith is also a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority where she has held positions such as vice president and public relations liaison while maintaining a 3.69 GPA. Faith plans to attend law school after completing her undergraduate degrees and work as an entertainment attorney.
