Dylan Gunner Jones is due to graduate from CSU Bakersfield in spring 2023 with a degree in history. His love for the subject has led him to become a deeply engaged member of the community and political activist, passions that emerged in high school, before he was old enough to vote. He now works to raise public awareness of critical issues, canvassing for candidates and initiatives, participating in direct-action strategies and campaigning for workers’ rights.

Dylan plans to become a history professor and help students who struggle with poverty.
