Transportation Reimbursement - CSU Presenting Author Students, Faculty, Staff, Postdocs
Non-San Diego State University: For liability reasons, attendees receiving CSUPERB transportation support must claim their reimbursement through their own CSU campus and then CSUPERB will reimburse the campus once it has submitted a separate claim form summary to CSUPERB. Attendees must follow all travel regulations and guidelines required by their own campus, including any pre-authorizations for travel. All travel with CSUPERB transportation support is for in-California travel only. CSUPERB will send CSU campus department/college contacts a listing in late November of all campus symposium attendees that have been offered support. A second list will be sent to campuses after the symposium listing all registrants that actually attended the event, along with the recovery form.
San Diego State University: Faculty/Staff/Postdocs attending the CSU Biotechnology symposium should complete a T-2 prior to travel. All travel with CSUPERB transportation support is for in-California travel only. Contact James Schmitt at jcschmitt@sdsu.edu to obtain the ORACLE account number if needed. CSU Presenting Student Poster Authors will be contacted by James Schmitt via email in early December, 2022 to complete required pre-travel materials. Students that do not complete the pre-travel materials will not be eligible for the transportation support. Once the symposium is complete, contact James Schmitt at jcschmitt@sdsu.edu to complete the SDSU travel claim.
