The CSU’s newest consortium, formed in early 2025, is focused on supporting research, scholarship and action in responding to climate change through adaptation.
CSU ADAPT has a specific focus on supporting CSU researchers in strategic identification of potential funding sources and development of meaningful community and multi-campus collaborations that can enhance success in securing funding from a diverse range of sources and funding mechanisms.

CSU ADAPT was launched at a time that allows us to capitalize on the 2023 investment the state legislature made in climate research through the University of California Office of the President’s Climate Action Initiative.
