Mission: The CSU Central Office for the Advancement of Black Student Success (COABSS) promotes educational excellence, equity, and belonging for Black students by fostering systemwide collaboration, delivering culturally responsive support, identifying and scaling effective practices, and investing in student achievement, leadership, and holistic success
