  • As chairman and CEO of FirstElement Fuel, Inc., Ewanick has taken a leadership role in building a network of hydrogen-fuel stations throughout California and enabling the commercialization of fuel-cell vehicles to combat global warming.
  • Served as General Motors’ vice president and global chief marketing officer, vice president of marketing at Hyundai Motors America, and general manager of marketing for Porsche Cars North America.
  • Named the Chief Marketing Officer of the Year by Forbes in 2009 and 2010.
  • Helped lead Hyundai to recognition as Marketer of the Year by Advertising Age in 2009​.
