Won a 2014 Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical for his role as Genie in Disney’s Broadway musical, Aladdin.
Saluted CSUEB Theatre Department staff member Celestine Ranney-Howes in his 2014 Tony Award acceptance speech for helping him to finish college and stay focused on his goals.
Created the role of Bobby in the multiple-Tony Award-winning musical Memphis, launched at Theatreworks in Silicon Valley before it moved to Broadway.
Featured in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway and The Wiz at New York’s City Center.
Member of the hip hop improv group Freestyle Love Supreme.
Television and film credits include Smash, We Are the Hartmans!, The Good Wife, The Electric Company (Silent E soloist), Good Morning America, and PBS Great Performances.
