Volk perfected her lemonade recipe for her own children’s lemonade stand and now sells her organic lavender, ginger, and lemongrass lemonades nationwide to help her kids through college and to support local fundraising initiatives and local organic farmers whenever possible.
Has won numerous awards, including the 2014 Woman Business Owner of the Year, NAWBO Ventura County and 2014 Woman Business Owner of the Year, NAWBO State Finalist. In 2015, she was selected as one of the Top 50 Women in Business, awarded by the Pacific Coast Business Times, and in 2016 she won the Entrepreneur Magazine’s Entrepreneur 360 Award. In 2016, Volk's lavender lemonade received the prestigious “Best in Show,” as well as the Gold Award in the juice category in Beverage World Magazine’s worldwide competition.
In more than 400 locations primarily in California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, Kansas, Oklahoma and Alaska, Lori’s Original Lemonade can be found in Whole Foods, Gelson’s, Bristol Farms, Lassen’s, select Vons, all statewide Sprouts and Albertsons, numerous local independent natural foods stores and cafes.
