Maryana Khames is currently pursuing a degree in International Security and Conflict Resolutions at San Diego State University, where she has been a student since 2018. She was the vice chair of the Commuter Board on San Diego State University’s Associated Students in 2019. She has also served as the Commissioner of Internal Affairs for Tijuana Home Build. Maryana was a marketing intern for Partners in College Success in 2018 and a district representative for the Office of California State Senator Joel Anderson from 2016 to 2017.
She currently serves as a Justice on the Judicial Affairs Council on San Diego State University’s Associated Students. Maryana has been an active member of Rotaract of San Diego State University since 2018. She previously worked at the Center for Student Success in Engineering in 2018 and currently works at the College of Engineering Student Affairs Office. She is currently a member of the Weber Honors College. After she graduates, Maryana hopes to attend law school and eventually become a human rights attorney.
