2026 California State Auditor Report

In 2024, the California Legislature enacted Assembly Bill 2407, establishing recurring audits of higher education institutions' prevention of and response to sexual harassment and related misconduct beginning in 2026. The 2026 audit, which audits two CSU campuses (Sacramento State and Cal Poly), provides the first comprehensive independent assessment of the reforms implemented following the CSA’s 2023 audit, implementation of Cozen O’Connor recommendations, and our updated Nondiscrimination Policy.
