Policy and Compliance Support​

The Office of Policy and Compliance Support, led by the Chief Compliance Officer, includes the Departments of Public Safety, the CSU Policy Library and the CSU Privacy Program. CSU Policy and Compliance Support provides services to enable the CSU to operate ethically and with integrity, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability across the CSU. We support CSU universities in achieving the highest standards of legal and regulatory requirements, promoting a safe, inclusive, and transparent environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Systemwide Campus Safety & Security

The Systemwide Public Safety department works to maintain a safe environment on the campuses by coordinating systemwide public safety initiatives, supporting the CSU Council of Chiefs, conducting training, strategic procurement, policy and legislative support, compliance guidance, and Critical Response Unit training and activation.

CSU Policy Library

The California State University Policy Library is an electronic repository that serves as the central hub for all systemwide policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the 22 CSU campuses and the Office of the Chancellor. It is accessible to both CSU employees and the public, ensuring transparency, accountability, and institutional compliance.
