The California State University is committed to the protection of the
health and wellness of all our students. To comply with this goal, our campuses implement procedures to ensure that students are educated about and receive immunizations to prevent potentially serious and contagious diseases.
In March 2019, the California State University adopted an
executive order requiring all CSU students to be current with specific immunizations as of the Fall 2022 semester. These immunizations, screening requirements and recommendations are adopted from the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Immunization and Screening Recommendations for College Students.
(Note: Any revisions to the CPDH recommendations for colleges and universities as of February 1 each year will be reflected in the CSU requirements for the subsequent fall academic term.)
The requirements below are effective with the Fall 2022 semester and do not apply to students attending a CSU campus prior to Fall 2022.
