My Story, My CSU

  • My favorite college course
Film History, with Dr. Dale Drum. The man's knowledge of the cinema was awesome, and his delight in sharing it inspires me to this day.
  • My fondest college memory
Graduation! Like so many other CSU alumni, I was the first in my family to obtain a college degree. I will never forget the support I received from my family and the people of California to ensure my dream of a college degree came true.
  • My college advice
Enjoy the learning experience. All that you study and learn will pay off in ways you can't even imagine.
  • My proudest accomplishment
Thirty years in public service. Working at a public agency (Long Beach Transit) that serves the community was tremendously satisfying.
