At their September 24 meeting, the CSU Board of Trustees recognized 23 students who have demonstrated superior academic success, personal accomplishments and community service. Meet the 2013 recipients of the CSU Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement.

CSU trustees reviewed initiatives aimed at improving student access and degree completion through technology. These solutions have the potential to benefit thousands of students in the 2013-14 academic year and beyond.

In presidential news, trustees have initiated the search for a new president of Cal State Long Beach. It was also announced that Rollin Richmond will retire after 12 years of serving as president of Humboldt State.

CSU Reaches Agreement with CSUEU, IUOE

The CSU has reached an agreement with the California State University Employees Union and the International Union of Operating Engineers over the 2013-14 salary re-opener negotiations. More.

"The Moment is Now"

Es el MomentoAs the nation recognizes Hispanic Heritage this month, the CSU will host one of the largest educational events in California designed to increase college access and graduation rates among Latinos. An estimated 55,000 parents and their children are expected to attend this year’s Es el Momento education fair at CSU Dominguez Hills October 5.
