Guidelines, Standards and Forms
Guidelines define design performance and submittal expectations. Guideline documents have the most administrative leeway. Commissioning Guidelines and Design & Submittal Procedure Guide are two examples.
Standards implement policy. Specific performance metrics are generally provided. They are administered with limited leeway. SUAM and Trustee Seismic Policy are two examples.
Forms provide a structured framework to convey information between parties to implement a Standard or Guideline. Invoice Templates and Sample Letters are two examples.
