Contribution Highlights
- CSU San Marcos received $450,000 in funding from a private
foundation and a developer, in conjunction with a partnership
between the university and the City of Temecula, in support of
its off-campus site and programming in Temecula.
- The Cal State San Marcos Foundation was established and
is comprised of community leaders, campus leadership, and
faculty and student representatives—all dedicated to furthering
the university’s strategic initiatives through philanthropy.
- A ribbon-cutting ceremony for The McMahan House—the first
phase of a master planned complex of buildings, courtyards
and patios that provides meeting accommodations and dining
opportunities for campus and community members—was
held. This $4.8 million project was entirely funded from a
private donation.
- University Advancement’s Communications Office, in
conjunction with Instructional and Information Technology
Services, launched a newly redesigned campus website,
creating an engaging, informative and user-friendly site.
