Contribution Highlights:
- Clearwire Corporation committed $54 million through a publicprivate
partnership to provide capital funding for enhanced technology on campus and improved access to Web-based
educational resources for students.
- The Marian Palmer Endowment was formed to help meet the urgent need for more nurses in California's Central Valley by providing scholarships and support for the nursing program's expansion.The endowment has been funded in the amount of $399,550 to date.
- The Josh Neal Memorial Endowment of $112,845 will provide opportunities for students in the Computer Science Program. Additionally, E & J Gallo Winery of Modesto donated $125,000 to upgrade lab space and enhance projects in Database Management Systems, Decision Support Systems, and Systems Analysis and Design.
- The Marjorie H. Bright Scholarship received additional funding from the Bright Family Foundation, bringing its total to $480,625. The same family established the Calvin E. and Marjorie H. Bright Scholarship Fund with a new gift of $30,000. These scholarships will provide much-needed
financial aid to a broad range of students.
