Contribution Highlights:
- The planned gift program has definitely come of age, with the campus securing its two largest gifts-an anonymous planned gift valued at $21 million and a $12 million planned gift from the family of CSU San Bernardino's first president, John M. Pfau.
- The Bernard Osher Foundation awarded two $1 million grants: one for the Re-entry
program and one for Lifelong Learning. Both grants support intellectual development for older adults.
- The campus secured over $1 million for the Equal Opportunity Program Foster Youth Program, including $656,000 from a planned gift, $217,196 from a local organization, $150,000 from a foundation and the remainder from small gifts, exemplifying wide support for the program.
- The Palm Desert campus raised $825,025 for its third building, completing the new campus without state funding.
